Aisha

Hey Dolls!

Just wanted to post the trailer of the upcoming film "Aisha." It's another film I'm really looking forward to. I love Sonam Kapoor and I think Abhay Deol is the most underrated actor there is! He makes you believe in his character, no matter what film he does! Remember his films Socha na tha and Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye!

Anyways, this movie is the remake of a Jane Austen book, "Emma." Hopefully the hindi version is better! :-)

Hope you guys enjoyed the trailer!

Have a good rest of the week!

XOXO

Randomness

Hello hello!

So this blog post is about a bunch of random stuff going on! Something for you to read basically! haha This week has been such a crazy week for me I finally finalized my trip to London! (woo hoo!!) On top of that, since I'll be gone for two weeks, I'm missing 3 tests at school... alll of which I'm making up this week. Yay me! I know. All while that is going on, I'm trying to fit in shopping for my trip and working out. Ok well now that I write it all out it, doesnt seem like that much.. but trust me it really is! I'm sooo exhausted after working 8 hours in the hospital, that I dont even know how I have the strength to work out when I get home. But somehow I do. I come home, relax for a little bit, then get up and cook dinner, clean up the mess after dinner, workout, study, go to bed.. and start all over again! Boy will I be relieved when this week is finally over! I have soo much more shopping to do this weekend.. I cant wait! Wish my Shiney was here to help me shop and dress me all cute. :-(   Miss you Shiney!!

Hmm.. so what else is going on? Not much really. The music for Sanjay Dutt's next film Lamhaa released this week. The film also stars Bipasha Basu and Kunal Kapoor.

I havent really given the music a chance yet, but as soon as I do, I'll let you guys know how the album is.

This is a totally random picture, but I felt like sharing it because I like the colors. Love me some pink and purples! Something eye catchy about this.. right? Not so much her though, this is Bhairavi Goswami.

Here's one picture that I love!! Such an artistic and beautiful picture. I'm not a fan of Celina Jaitley, but I LOVE what she's wearing!

(click on the picture if you want to see it in full size)

Anyways, I hope this is enough to keep you guys going for now!

Milenge Milenge

'Milenge Milenge' is another movie I'm starting to look forward to. It's starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. I loved them together in Jab We Met. So I'm hoping they share the same kind of chemistry on screen again. And most likely for the last time ever. The movie was made years ago but was never released until now. The songs are very catchy but a little old sounding, which I dont mind at all.

^^Chubby Kareena  from back in the day and dorky shahid haha

There's been so much gossip about this movie in the media because Shahid and Kareena dated back when this movie was made. Since then, they've obviously gone their seperate ways. Apparently the break up was so bad that they dont even like being at the same events. Kareena even refused to make a promotional music video for the movie because she didnt want to be around Shahid.  The movie director had to go out of his way and made the video without the two of them present together. They were seperately filmed in different locations and times. Pretty ridiculous huh? They even refuse to go on locations to promote the movie together. Last I heard.. Shahid even refused to promote the movie period.

Here's the theatrical trailer, if you havent seen it already.

I'll try to upload some of the songs soon. Stay tuned!

Song of the day!

Again, I know this isnt a new song but I still absolutely love this song. It's soo beautiful! I loove this whole album, such lovely songs!

If you know me pretty well then you know that I listen to music basically 24hrs a day haha. I start my day off usually with bhajans and then I turn on the radio or listen to some recently downloaded albums while I get ready. About this time, there'll usually be at least one song that will come on and get stuck in my head for the rest of the day! And it becomes my "song of the day."

So here's mine from today, hope you guys love it too!

Movie: Tum Mile
Song: Dil Ibaadat

LYRICS:

Dil ibaadat kar raha hai

Dhadkane meri sun,
Tujhko me kar loon haasil lagi hai yehi dhun.
Zindagi ki shakh se loon, kuch haseen pal le chun
Tujhko me kar loo haasil lagi hai yehi dhun
Dil ibaadat kar raha hai

Dhadkane meri sun,
Tujhko me kar loon haasil lagi hai yehi dhun.
Zindagi ki shakh se loon, kuch haseen pal le chun
Tujhko me kar loo haasil lagi hai yehi dhun
Jo bhi jitne pal jeeyu
Unhe tere sang jeeyu
Jo bhi kal ho ab tera use tere sang jeeyu
Jo bhi saanse me bharoo unhe tere sang bharoo
Chahe jo hona raasta use tere sang chalu

Dil ibaadat kar raha hai

Dhadkane meri sun,
Tujhko me kar loon haasil lagi hai yehi dhun.

Mujhko de tu mit jaane
Ab khudse dil mil jaane
Kyu hai yeh itna faasla....
Lamhe yeh phir naa aane
Inko tu naa le jaane
Tu mujh pe khudko de loota.....
Tujhe tujhse tod loo kahi khudse jod loo
Mere jism-o-jaan me aa teri khusboo odh loo

Jo bhi saanse me bharoo unhe tere sang bharoo
Chahe jo hona raasta usse tere sang chalu

Dil ibaadat kar raha hai

Dhadkane meri sun,
Tujhko me kar loon haasil lagi hai yehi dhun.
Bahoon me de bas jaane
Sine me de chup jaane
Tujh bin me jaa'oo kaha
Tujhse hai mujhe ko paane yaado ke woh nazrane
Ek jinpe haq ho bas mera

Teri yaadon me rahu
Tere khwaabo me jagu
Mujhe doondhe jab koi
Teri aankho main milu

Jo bhi saanse me bharoo
Unhe tere sang bharoo
Chahe joh ho raasta use tere sang chalu

Dil ibaadat kar raha hai

Dhadkane meri sun,
Tujhko me kar loon haasil lagi hai yehi dhun.

I HATE LUV STORYS!

**I meant to post this earlier, but I guess I must have clicked on the "save now" button instead of "publish." oops! oh well.. better late than never!! :-) **

The movie I am anticipating more than any other this summer is definately I hate luv storys!! The trailers are sooo cute! A Dharma house production, meaning produced by Karan Johar! It has 2 great actors, Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. SOOOO mark your calenders ladies and gentlemen! JULY 2ND, 2010!!

*FYI* The music currently being played on my blog is from this movie!
LOVE this quote!
"Bade bade desho mein, aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai!"

One of the best quotes EVER!! Dont you agree? If you dont know what movie that's from, you might as well go shoot yourself now (no not literally), because you're definately NOT a big bollywood fanatic.

What do people look forward to in life when they dont have Bollywood? I mean seriously... if your indian and not fobby enough to watch indian movies.. your wasting your life.. sorry. :-)

Anyways, back to the topic at hand....... IHLS!

Here's the trailer to the upcoming film!

Aghhhh I'm sooo exciiiited!!!!! Arent you??

I'm addicted!!

Ok, so I know this isnt a new release or anything, but I cant stop listening to this song!! I'm still so in love with it! I love working out to it too! It's called Ishq Barse from the movie Rajneeti. I'll post a link to the song below.

I'm not too crazy about movies based on politics, so I'm waiting to see Rajneeti on DVD. I'll let you know how it is, whenever that happens. But it'll definately happen because my love Ranbir Kapoor is in the movie.

Hope yall love the song too!! ENJOY!

I shall update more often. I shall update more often.

Hello hello lovelies!
Long time no blog! And of course the same ol' excuse.... I've been sooo busy! But it's the truth! I'm going to try to update my blog as much as I can within the next 1 1/2 weeks because after that, I'll be MIA for 2 weeks. I'm going to my cousin's wedding in London which I am so totally stoked about!! Which should be soo much fun, all of my family is going! I havent seen most of my family since my wedding which was 2 1/2 years ago.. can you believe it!? Boy does time fly fast when your having a good time :-) I'll post some pictures from my trip as soon as I get back!

On that note, I also decided that I'm going to make this blog all about me and my life. I dont always have things about Bollywood to share, but I'll always have retarded stuff about me to talk about :-) haha So basically things that are going on in my life.. i.e. my hubs, family, work, class, stuff at home, my random shopping spree's, and of course about my wonderful Buzo!!

He looks soo mean in this picture haha. What a little mess maker he is! I swear I dont need kids anytime soon because of him! Such a handfullll!

So the first 'Bollywood related' thing I want to talk about is Kites. Despite all the horrible reviews people gave about Kites, I have to disagree. It really wasn't a horrible film but also didnt live up to the expectations. It's probably not worth wasting money in a theatre for, but for me myself, I would go out and rent it to watch at home. If you guys want me to give a detailed review of the film, I'll be more than happy to do that.

Isn't Barbara Mori just stunning!?

Gorgeous!

OK I'll stop now, haha.

So the next thing I wanted to talk about, is a movie that's releasing soon.

Mani Ratnam's 'Raavan' releases next weekend! Although the trailers look kind of weird, I'm looking forward to watching it. The director and cast look promising. But really cant get my hopes up too high lately.
*The Theatrical Trailer - Raavan*

OK this is good enough for now, gotta go put food on the table! Made Aloo Gobi, Raita and roti.. yum!

Toodles.
